Toasters - Waffle Makers

Restaurants that serve breakfast or toast sandwich buns will need a commercial toaster to get the job done. The amount of toast, bagels or buns you want to make as well as the available space will help determine whether you need a simple pop-up model, one with a conveyor or one that can do more than just brown bread. Kitchens that only intend to toast a maximum of 400 slices of bread or bagels an hour should only need a traditional pop up model. These units are the smallest commercial toasters on the market, so they are also ideal for establishments with limited counter space. While they may resemble the familiar residential version of the pop up toaster found in your house, commercial pop up toasters are definitely built for the commercial kitchen and feature substantially more powerful and durable components. Commercial kitchens that need a unit that can handle anywhere from 400 to 1,000 slices of bread an hour will want a model that has a moving conveyor belt. Rather than having four slots for single slice toasting, the conveyor toaster can accept several slices end to end, and using a moving conveyor, can toast each slice in a fraction of the time. Conveyor toasters are favored by most delis, caf├ęs and breakfast establishments for their ability to continuously toast product with relatively little labor needed during the rush.
